Free Credit Card Payment Help
Would I be able to do this?
Is it possible to start a credit card payment form businness website for free? Are there any laws that I will have to follow to sell things on the net (in the uk), Do I have to get a licence? Or do I have to get/have anything else? I fthe credit card payment form isn’t an option is there another way of receiving payments for goods over the internet?
If the above is possible but not for free or the above way – how would I be able to do this?
Is there any other information that someone might want to give me that might be helpful to me.

Your best bet is to go with a third-party online commerce solution like Yahoo Store. They, and similar services, have the whole process ready to roll. It costs a bit more per transaction than it would if you did it on your own, but it eliminates a lot of hassles. If your business does well, and you start processing a lot of $$ each month, then you can explore operating your own shopping cart, and presumably you’ll have the financial resources to do that.
To do it on your own, you’ll need:
- Register a web domain name
- Website hosting
- Shopping cart software
- A merchant account
- A payment gateway
Beyond that, you’ll need to be able to fill orders within a reasonable time period.
