Can the GI Bill was screwing some more?? ** This advisory MILITARY EDUCATION PLEASE ANSWER **?
I'm reading this article now: It seems http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/national_world&id=7032004 a lot of VAs are more or less waiting and waiting for their GI Bill to return to imburst for college tuition. What would a wait that seemed reasonable, has been stretched and when a person was waiting for his GI Bill to return to imburst expenses that had to wait more and were almost forced to take loans, credit cards, dip into savings, etc. Now, the cost increases because the loans are not free, obviously. Now I'm worried because I use my GI Bill when I finished my active duty in the Marine Corps. Of course, this was something that worried me. So advisers military education: What do you recommend to prepare for this? I can not ask why all this happening, so I would like to ask, what is the best course of action next? Obviously, the Marines do not have a high salary, so what can u recommend?
I think everybody is pretty much hit on the head here. Using the GI Bill is essentially a benefit for our military, but with the overflow of veterans and active duty applied high and the implementation of the new GI Bill benefits, there is a delay. But that's just right now … mentioned that veterans applying now are like guinea pigs, and it is true in my opinion. The kinks will be worked out, the delay will be clarified within a year and I'm sure things will be smoother and the VA will have a better flow of processing and disbursement of funds. Sam, I have spoken with you earlier about the educational benefits while serving. Make every effort to take advantage of tuition assistance while on active duty as you can, that way you knock like the university as much as possible while serving. In due time you'll see and hear more positive stories about how I'm sure the new GI Bill is working for everyone. And do not forget, planning is key and if you have time, you can plan now. There were many people, even I have found that the military has cut off and jumped into the school without really knowing the impact of this new delay GI Bill would be for treatment and others. So do not panic, do not worry too much now. Just make sure that when you entered in the Marine Corps and his contract is about to get up, your ducks in a row before applying anything.
